I was born and raised in Edmond—a suburb just north of Oklahoma City.

I’ve been studying literature for the better part of a decade. I earned my B.A. in English at Oklahoma Christian University in 2017. After college, I moved to Washington, D.C. to begin my graduate studies. I earned my M.A. in English from Georgetown University in 2020. For the last six years, I’ve been working on my doctorate at the University of Virginia. I’ll defend my dissertation and graduate in spring 2026.

When I’m not reading or writing, I love to lift weights, ride my bike, go to art museums, and re-watch Veep.
